During a visit to the Spoorwegmuseum (Dutch Railway Museum) in Utrecht, I expected to photograph historic trains. Instead, I discovered an indoor ice skating rink where children and adults were gliding and spinning, an unexpected photographic opportunity.
This series captures the motion and energy of ice skating using slow shutter speeds. The result is a set of pictures that is less about documenting skating and more about exploring motion, color, and the joy of movement itself.
