Roof tile factory

While traveling from Negombo to Dambulla, we stopped at a small traditional roof tile factory, one of those unplanned moments that make travel memorable.

We watched the workers hand-molding and firing clay tiles using techniques passed down through generations. The entire process was manual, and the atmosphere was welcoming and unhurried. These photographs document the factory and the craftspeople who work there.
