Bangkok streets

Bangkok, Thailand's capital, houses over 10 million residents in its metropolitan area. The city's streets create a photographer's paradise—dense with humanity, food vendors, shops, markets, temples, and the constant motion of urban life.

Bangkok's neighborhoods each offer distinct character. Old Town's narrow lanes wind past Chinese shophouses and century-old temples. Modern districts showcase glass towers and sky trains. Riverside areas preserve traditional wooden houses alongside contemporary development. Street food vendors occupy virtually every corner, transforming sidewalks into open-air restaurants.

For street photography, Bangkok provides inexhaustible subjects: monks collecting morning alms, vendors preparing street food, commuters navigating crowds, spontaneous interactions, and the visual chaos that defines Southeast Asian megacities.

This collection combines photographs from our previous visit with new images from our 2025 trip, documenting Bangkok's evolving street scenes while capturing the timeless energy that makes the city endlessly photogenic.
